Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the vice presidential candidate number two from the Koalisi Indonesia Maju, emphasized the importance of supporting the creative economic industry. One way to do this is by providing easy financing facilities.
Gibran pointed out that the creative economic industry has experienced rapid growth during the Covid-19 pandemic and continues to develop. Therefore, it is crucial for the government to continue its support, especially in nurturing start-ups.
He cited an example in Solo where there is a special start-up program in local banks that assists with initial capital. This is aimed at making it easier for young people to develop their businesses when they do not have assets that can be used as collateral.
“If there is Bank Jateng here that provides a special start-up program. We create start-ups that do not have assets yet, they can access capital without collateral, that’s the most important thing,” said Gibran in an interview titled “Info A1 This Time Gibran Talks Long, Ready for Debate?” through YouTube, Wednesday (6/12/2023).
He further stated that this program could serve as the basis for the government to make it easier for players in the creative industry throughout Indonesia.
